Remember The Lord

Isaiah 64:5 (NIV)

You come to the help who gladly do right, who remember your ways.

Deuteronomy 8:2 (NET)

Remember the whole way by which he has brought you these forty years through the desert so that he might, by humbling you, test you to see if you have it within you to keep his commandments or not.

Remember how God has been my shield and a mighty right arm raised over my household, defending us. Remember how God has kept us hidden in His shadow and not let the enemy separate us or destroy us. Remember how God has watched over us and shepherded us, how He provides for us at every turn. Remember how many turns there have been and God has snatched us away from every attack and held us close. Surely, I know, His love remains constant and He will continue to look out for us. He directs our path because we trust in Him.

Psalm 100:3-5 (NIV)

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 73:26

(NET) My flesh and my heart may grow weak, but God always protects my heart and gives me stability.

Psalm 89:17-18 (NLT)

You are their glorious strength. It pleases you to make us strong. Yes, our protection comes from the Lord, and he, the Holy One of Israel, has given us our king.

Remember who the Lord God is. How has He held you and carried you through all that you’ve been through? Recount the good things that He does and don’t discount anything because all good things come from His hand, for you (James 1:17). Read James chapter 1 and be strengthened today.
