God’s Hands

Psalm 16:8

(NIV) I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

(NLV) I have placed the Lord always in front of me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be moved.

(NLT) I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.

Psalm 37:23-24

(NIV) The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

(NLT) The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

(NCV) When people’s steps follow the Lord, God is pleased with their ways. If they stumble, they will not fall, because the Lord holds their hand.

Psalm 139:1-10 (NCV)

Lord, you have examined me and know all about me. You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know my thoughts before I think them. You know where I go and where I lie down. You know everything I do. Lord, even before I say a word, you already know it. You are all around me—in front and in back— and have put your hand on me. Your knowledge is amazing to me; it is more than I can understand. Where can I go to get away from your Spirit? Where can I run from you? If I go up to the heavens, you are there. If I lie down in the grave, you are there. If I rise with the sun in the east and settle in the west beyond the sea, even there you would guide me. With your right hand you would hold me.

John 10:25-30 (NLV)

Jesus answered, “I told you and you do not believe. The works I do in My Father’s name speak of Me. You do not believe because you are not My sheep. My sheep hear My voice and I know them. They follow Me. I give them life that lasts forever. They will never be punished. No one is able to take them out of My hand. My Father Who gave them to Me is greater than all. No one is able to take them out of My Father’s hand. My Father and I are one!”

The Lord’s hand is a guiding hand, an instructing hand and a protective shield. Everyone who has professed Jesus Christ as their Lord has the privilege of being kept in His hand. We carry His authority and His anointing through His hand on us. There is no greater privilege in life, no greater sweetness, than understanding that we walk with His hand holding ours throughout each day, preventing us from falling.

I pray you receive God's hands today and walk with the understanding of the privilege of knowing Him.
