Turn Moments Towards Something Prosperous

To live, to enjoy moments, to embrace people, to sing and be joyful, to find enjoyment in what we do… these are all gifts from God. Whatever is happening in life, find the joy and celebrate it. Try and find the moments of purity, of peace and contentment rather than searching for the things that crush us. Receive these good things and do what we can to turn each moment toward a moment that can last in eternity, being fruitful, rather than question God’s integrity in the things we can’t control or find hard to understand.

Recognise our limitations and be thankful that God doesn’t have those limitations. Recognise people’s blunders for what they are without blaming God. God invites us to enjoy the life we’ve been given. When we walk through tough situations we can thank God for being there. We can turn toward Him instead of away from Him. We can receive His help. We can trust in the power of God in each day to turn things for our good. We can remember everything has its season.

Using our seasons for good brings glory to God, strengthens our hearts, and broadens our understanding.

Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 (NASB 1995)

He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labour—it is the gift of God. I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him.

I pray that today you will be able to turn your moments towards something prosperous and trust in God’s everlasting goodness.
